United Way’s Community Resources Center bridges hope and community service for southeast Mississippi and helps connect people with the right human service agency to serve their needs through our Information and Referral program. Community Care Council

The Community Care Council brings together area nonprofit health and human service agencies to work towards community building and problem solving. The group meets at the United Way office throughout the year with different speakers and programs for each meeting. Attendees are encouraged to ask questions and offer ideas on how to better coordinate services being offered in Jackson and George counties. Programs have included maximizing your chamber membership, budgeting workshop, bystander intervention, and social media’s role in crime prevention.
