  • The Jackson County School District has established a FREE GRAB AND GO feeding program for ALL children 18 and younger, beginning Wednesday, March 18, 2020. The child does NOT need to be enrolled in the school district to receive meals. Children will not be required to leave the vehicle, but must be present to receive their meals. Again, there is no charge for the children’s meals. Adults may purchase meals for $3. There will be three pickup sites in Jackson County: East Central Middle School (5400 Hurley-Wade Road, Moss Point, MS); St. Martin High School (11300 Yellow Jacket Road, Ocean Springs, MS); and Vancleave Middle School (4725 Bulldog Lane, Hwy. 57, Vancleave, MS) WILL BE CLOSED DURING SPRING BREAK APRIL 6 - 10.

  • The Moss Point School District will make breakfast and lunch meals available to ALL currently enrolled students. The meals will be available by bus delivery to existing bus stops or by pick up from one of our school sites. Please see the district's website, or Facebook page for a detailed delivery schedule. WILL BE CLOSED DURING SPRING BREAK APRIL 6 - 10.

  • The Pascagoula-Gautier School District will be distributing free meals to all children 18 years and younger. Please visit their Facebook page for more details or for more information.

  • The Salvation Army in Pascagoula is serving guests by appointment only. If you need a meal, you'll need to call beforehand. The number is 228-762-7222. 

  • The George County School District is providing meals to children ages 0 - 18. Please visit their website at for more information.


  • Health & Handicapped Services is open and serving new clients by appointment only. Please call 228-762-0364. Current clients needing maintenance medication should also call the office. Your request will be handled via telephone.

  • In an abundance of caution and on guidance from MSDH/SKGC, Prevention and Safety Services (PASS) has suspended ALL aspects of their car seat rental program. They will not accept rentals, exchanges or returns until further notice. Please call 228-762-6540 or email at if you have a question or concern.

  • PROMISS is open, but only serving those who are in need of emergency material assistance, proof of pregnancy, or pregnancy counseling. Ultrasounds are being provided only per approval of the nurse manager, following completion of intake paperwork. Clients are served one at a time, on a first come, first served basis. There is no waiting room at this time.

  • As we find ourselves in need of maintaining the safety and well-being of our clients, our staff and our community, Gulf Coast Family Counseling Agency will be providing telehealth services to our clients from today forward and our physical office location(s) will be closed. We are making attempts to touch base with all clients who have scheduled appointments in order to make arrangements for telehealth to meet your needs. Please give us a call with any questions and/or concerns. We would like to be able to provide continued care for our current clients and offer our services to new members of our community who may be in need in these uncertain and stressful times.   • Secretary of State Michael Watson said the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency cautions internet users to be wary of emails with malicious attachments or links to fraudulent websites. They also warn to be cautious of any email with a COVID-19-related subject line, attachment or hyperlink, and to be wary of social media pleas, texts or calls related to COVID-19.

  • The Jackson-George Regional Library System is closed. Books should NOT be dropped off and fines will NOT accumulate while the libraries are closed.
