2009 Campaign for United Way

Dear Campaign Coordinators, volunteers, and donors,

The 2009 United Way campaign is gearing up for an exciting and record-breaking year! Our community-wide kickoff for Jackson and George Counties is coming soon, and your help is needed now more than ever.

Our 23 member United Way agencies, as well as numerous non-profits that receive Community Impact Grants, are depending on this year’s campaign to help them extend their helping hands in 2010. Their efforts improve the quality of life for all citizens in our communities. Please join us in helping to ensure they can continue to provide vital human services for our friends and neighbors in Jackson and George Counties.

Last year, because of the support of generous people like you, the United Way for Jackson and George Counties campaign set an all-time fundraising record of $2.3 million. This year, we’re aiming even higher, and hope to raise $2.5 million!
