The United Way for Jackson & George Counties works with more than 1,500 volunteers to contact thousands of local businesses and individuals during its annual fundraising campaign. Money raised during this annual campaign funds 20 local member agencies and programs in Jackson & George Counties for the coming year. The campaign is about much more than dollars; it is about local people caring for each other and giving of their money and time to improve our local community and support their family, friends and co-workers.

This year's campaign theme is "United We Win!" Just as the casual setting of a family game night helps promote unity and teamwork, United Way's donors help to strengthen our community by bringing thosands of pledges together to make lasting changes in the lives of those around us.  United Way team members believe in empowering their community through, giving, advocating and volunteering. We believe that by reaching out a hand to one, we influence the condition of all. United Way serves to identify areas needing improvement and finds lasting solutions to solve these problems right here in our local community.
